Evidence-based guidance helping you feel steadier.
I’m Kimberly Eardley, a Clinical Psychologist based in Sandton and Centurion. I work in private practice as an independent practitioner, offering therapy and specialist psychological assessments within a calm and professional setting. In addition to my practice, I work in hospital emergency settings and collaborate with psychiatric clinics, units, and healthcare professionals across the region. I also lecture at the University of Pretoria and contribute to professional and public psychology writing.
Structured, and grounded in evidence-based care.
Therapy is collaborative. We work together to understand what’s happening, identify the patterns that keep you stuck, and develop tools that support change in a way that feels manageable and realistic. Sessions are paced carefully, with space for reflection and practical steps forward. I aim to create a space that feels contained, respectful, and clear, whether you’re navigating anxiety, mood difficulties, stress and burnout, relationship strain, trauma-related symptoms, or a major life transition.
My approach
I strive to create a safe and compassionate space where patients feel supported and empowered to grow. Reaching out, whether for yourself, your child, or in the context of a legal matter, can feel daunting, but it is also a powerful first step toward clarity, healing, and lasting change. I would be honoured to walk alongside you in this process.
Personal work
My approach is tailored to each client. This may involve long-term psychodynamic and narrative therapy to process trauma and build a stronger sense of self, or short-term, solution-focused work to manage present challenges. With couples and families, I focus on strengthening communication, repairing trust, and supporting children’s developmental wellbeing.
Clinical work
I work with adults, couples, and children through therapy and assessment. This may include trauma, grief, relationship difficulties, emotional or behavioural struggles, and psychological, neuropsychological, medico-legal, or forensic assessments where greater clarity and direction are needed. Assessments are offered through Nexa Psychology.
